RHS Judging

Although our work is primarily about pride in our town, taking part in the RHS In Bloom completion helps provide a focus and certain competitive edge.

Judging in the Regional competition takes place in July. Two RHS judges are given a guided tour of the maintained areas and supplied with a portfolio of the work they are not able to see on the day.

IYN areas are judged and certificated separately.
If entered for the National competition, this normally takes place on another day.

Results are published in late summer and there is a prize giving event in October.
KIB have been very successful over the years and always try to maintain the standard.

Kingsbridge in Bloom have won many awards, please see the Archive pages, in the Gallery section, which lists all the achievements over the years.

We are now all working hard together to make Kingsbridge look beautiful again this year and hope to enter the RHS South West in Bloom competiton in the summer.

Don't forget, one of the challenges is to ensure that there are enough volunteers to help with the Wednesday mornings working groups and the essential watering duties, during those hot lazy days of summer.
